I have just put up the track "Caribou" I recorded from Radio 1 some years ago, it was supposedly featured on a Pixies Covers compilation although I've never been able to track it down. The Sounds page now features what I believe to be every B-side and miscellaneous track recorded by the band, unless anybody knows different.

After years of hunting I have finally located a copy of the "Sound of America" soundtrack featuring Linoleum's version of "All tomorrow's Parties". Go to the sounds page to check it out!

Following in the footsteps of the stylish Lino sleeves used on the early singles the band have made a Super8 movie to cut up and put on the sleeves of the new single. While out filming they came across David Soul in a park who agreed to be filmed for the project. This lucky event will now be turned into a competition with two of the new singles having footage of David Soul inside them. The first person to find him will win tickets to Reading with lots of Linoleum goodies going to the second.
1st June 2000
The title of the new album has been confirmed as "The Race from the Burning Building" and will be released on 24th July by fierce panda under cat. number NONG15. It was recorded in Fortress2 studios in Old Street last year with producer Dave Allen and cut at Abbey Road. Paul Jones who has now joined Elastica recorded most of the album with new guitarist Gavin Pearce playing some additional guitar and recording "I'm in Love with A German Film Star". Gavin was found by Caroline after she worked with him on the soundtrack to a short film.

He is still recording the new Linoleum LP so it looks like he is just helping out until they find a permanent replacement for Donna Matthews.
